Early in 2020, I met this lovely family when we'd planned their first born's newborn portraits. Of course, with it being early 2020, our plans had to adjust slightly and we spent our first session together 6+ feet apart, outside, with their newborn boy. We made it work and it turned out to be a wonderful year of shoot Jack's first year.
Last year as they welcomed their second baby boy, we were able to have the full newborn shoot experience. Now baby James has turned 1 and the milestone called for some beautiful portraits in the gardens. The southern culture is unmatched when it comes to wardrobe choices, and when I saw the white and lace outfits, I knew we were a classic session.
This small collection is a just a taste of what our session looked like, though I must admit that narrowing them down for the blog was difficult! I'm seeing these framed together on a big, beautiful gallery wall.
