This beautiful shoot is brought to you by an Alabama fall day in December! The Humphreys were fantastic to work with and the colors on this Thursday afternoon were absolutely gorgeous.
Elizabeth and I grew up in the same small town, same school, and same church. Those years in the 90’s were stereotypical small town but wonderful all at the same time. She and I are 2 years apart, so I’m sure her memories of me are of a young girl who was always a little too hyped! The years spent in Clanton were special, especially our time spent at church (which was A LOT).
Their sweet little boy, Johnathan, was a blast to photograph. He was a typical 2 year old boy; running, laughing, discovering “clubhouses” inside the gardens. Johnathan made my job fun! One of my favorite moments was near the end of our shoot when he decided to lay down for a rest, declaring he was tired. After a few minutes of rest, he was up and ready to play hide and seek.
Enjoy a glimpse of this wonderful family and the last hints of fall that are peaking through each image.
